120 VAC and 220 VAC Hot Melt Hose Cleaning

Overview: Hot melt hoses made by Nordson, Dynatec, Graco, Meyer, HMT, Viking, Robotec and others, in many cases, can have the interior Teflon tube cleaned and de-charred.

For a hose to be cleaned it must have hot melt flow when it is removed from your unit. If it is completely plugged the chances are very slim that we can reopen the Teflon tube. A char (carbonized hot melt) blockage cannot be drilled through without destroying the Teflon tube.

Almost all hot melt compounds can be cleaned from heated hoses. These include EVA, Polyethylene, Amorphous Polyolefin, Polyamide and some PUR (hot melt reactive urethane). PUR that has been allowed to cure, exposed to moisture, cannot be cleaned.

Before shipping hoses to us please fill out the below form, call or email us so that we can discuss the specific problem you are having. We will also need to know what hot melt you are using.

We do not do the following services:
1. Replace hose RTD’s.
2. Rewire burnt out hose resistant heater wiring.
3. Crimp new compression fitting on used hoses.
4. Work on hoses with exposed electrical wiring.

We will:
1. Remove char from 3/8” ID or larger hoses.
2. Replace electrical connectors on hose ends at additional charge.
3. Install corrugated abrasion resistant hose coverings at additional charge.
