Cyanoacrylate Adhesives are available in “general purpose” and “high performance” formu- lations. These single-component adhesives offer set times from “instant” to four minutes. Solvent-free cyanoacrylate adhesives yield strong, durable bonds in metal, plastics, rubber, ceramics and glass applications.

Standard Cyanoacrylates

When a cyanoacrylate is specified, there's a standard cyanoacrylate from Bostik® to do the job. Available in several package sizes with a choice of cure speeds and viscosities, Bostik® standard cyanoacrylates handle most any job quickly and reliably.

7430  General Purpose: A versatile, fast curing, low viscosity adhesive. Fast fixturing makes it ideal for repairs and small parts bonding.

7431 Penetrating Grade: Very low viscosity material penetrates and wicks in between parts after they've been positioned, aligned or assembled.

7432 For Rubber and Plastic:  Specially formulated for bonding rubber and plastic, this fast curing, medium viscosity adhesive is ideal for O-rings, rubber to metal applications and most plastic bonding.

7433 For Wood and Fabric:  Medium curing time.  Designed for semiporous surfaces such as wood, fiber and treated paper.  Medium/high viscosity allows better gap filling between metal surfaces.

7434 For Porous Surfaces:  Long open time and high viscosity material for bonding ceramics, cork, pottery, leather and open cell foam.

7435 Maximum Gap Filler:   A very high viscosity, slow fixturing adhesive. Allows time for parts positioning and adjustment, especially on uneven and porous surfaces.

Special Performance Cyanoacrylates

Bostik's Special Performance Adhesives are engineered to overcome problems commonly associated with cyanoacrylates such as surface sensitivity, exposure to high heat, impact and peel stress. Also available in several container sizes, these adhesives provide the same benefits as standard cyanoacrylates for a wider range of applications.

7530 For Plastics and Performance:  For maximum strength bonding of plastics and elastomers, nylon, PVC and ABS.

7531 For High Clarity:  For high clarity, low vapor, excellent moisture resistance. Call for pricing.

7532 For Critical Surfaces:  For hard to bond surfaces such as wood and plated parts with highly acidic surfaces. Also recommended for bonding surfaces contaminated with oil, grease, silicone and dirt.   Can reduce the cost of special surface cleaning in production. 7533 High Temperature:  For parts subjected to high temperature up to 75°F continuous and 300°F intermittent. Also provides higher impact strength than transitional cyanoacrylates. Special performance benefits are often essential in automotive and electronic manufacturing. Call for pricing.

7534 For High Peel:  For bonding dissimilar materials. High peel strength and excellent elongation.

7535 For Severe Service:  A superior performance adhesive combining exceptional resistance to
high temperatures, impact, peel and thermal shock with the ability to fill large gaps. Extended cure time (2-4 minutes) allows parts alignment and adjustment. Ideal for porous and large parts assembly where uneven surfaces are common.
